Diploma of Greek Language

The Diploma of Greek Language focuses on cultivating proficiency in the speaking, listening, reading, and writing of Greek enabling graduates to communicate effectively and confidently in a broad range of personal, academic, professional, and cultural contexts. Through sustained engagement with authentic spoken and written texts, graduates develop linguistic fluency, intercultural understanding, and the capacity to interpret and respond critically to contemporary Greek language and culture, while being equipped for further language study, professional application, community engagement, or participation within Greek cultural and ecclesiastical contexts.

The Diploma of Greek Language is designed to provide students with systematic and progressive formation in Greek language acquisition, communication, and cultural literacy. The award introduces students to the grammatical, phonetic, syntactical, lexical, and communicative structures of contemporary Greek and gradually develops competency across the four principal language domains of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
