Biblical Studies

Overview
This course category introduces students to the critical study of the books of the
Bible, its literary forms, historical and cultural contexts and theological themes. The
approach is not purely academic: there is a strong liturgical, spiritual, and ecclesial
dimension. Students are formed not only in critical thinking about the Bible but also in
how scripture is lived out in worship, church life, pastoral care, and Orthodox liturgical
practice.
