Conference Presentation by Dr Philip Kariatlis

On Tuesday 1 December 2015, Dr Philip Kariatlis (Academic Director & Senior Lecturer in Systematic Theology) presented a paper at the Sixth St Paul's College Symposium, hosted at the University of Sydney. Dr Kariatlis' paper was on the subject of 'The Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Environment'.

Public Lecture by Chris Baghos

On Monday 30 November 2015, Chris Baghos (IT & Registry Officer) gave the fourth and final presentation for the third Christianity and the Arts series held at the Greek Orthodox Parish of the Resurrection of Christ, Kogarah. The presentation was entitled 'STAR WARS, Episode III: A Cautionary Spiritual Tale.'

The lecture was entitled 'Baptism - A Roadmap for Life'.

On Monday 9 November 2015, Dr Mario Baghos (Associate Lecturer in Church History) gave the first presentation for the third Christianity and the Arts series held at the Greek Orthodox Parish of the Resurrection of Christ, Kogarah. The presentation was entitled 'Christian Reflections on the Lament for Boromir in J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.'

2015 Student Retreat

On 4 and 5 November 2015, a number of our students took part in a retreat at Stanwell Tops, NSW. The retreat provided them ample opportunity to bond in a more relaxed setting, enjoying various outdoor activities despite the strange weather.

On the first day of the retreat, the students were honoured by the presence of His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos of Australia (College Dean).
