Letter to Students regarding COVID-19

All face-to-face classes on campus in Redfern (NSW) and the Melbourne facilitation classes hosted at St John’s College in Preston (VIC) have been suspended for the foreseeable future, effective immediately, and until further notice. In the meantime, lectures will be transferred to distance education online delivery mode via Moodle.

Students residing within the college dormitory have been instructed to vacate their rooms and to return home until further notice.

An official letter from the College Dean, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia, is available here.

Each lecturer will communicate a contingency plan for their respective classes and communicate this plan to students who are welcome to seek further clarification from their respective lecturer(s) as needed.

The Registry Office and Library will continue to operate for the time being but according to reduced opening hours. Communication is welcome via telephone or email.

All staff and students are advised to pay regular attention to the information provided by the federal Department of Health and the State or Territory government health authorities in their place of residence.
