Accreditation

St Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Theological College is a Member of the Sydney College of Divinity (SCD) which is a collaboration of colleges from different Christian traditions who are its Member Colleges. Currently the SCD has thirteen Member Colleges delivering its undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework) awards in English.

The SCD is listed on the National Register for Providers and Courses as an Australian University College accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).

The SCD is also registered with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS Provider: 02948J). Registration on CRICOS allows the SCD to offer courses to international students studying, or intending to study, in Australia on student visas.

The SCD is approved by the Commonwealth Government for FEE-HELP loans to eligible students.

St Andrew's offers undergraduate and postgraduate units of study in the following ways:

  1. Weekly Daytime Lectures On Campus. This mode of delivery is principally, although not exclusively, for students in the Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity programs.
  2. Weekly Evening Lectures On Campus. The units offered are of a foundational character and in most cases available to both undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts of students alike.
  3. Distance Education (Online) Learning. A considerable number of units each year are offered as distance education units.

Cross-Institutional Study

Students studying at university or any recognised tertiary institution may be eligible for cross-institutional enrolment whereby units completed through St Andrew's (Sydney College of Divinity) may be credited towards their own undergraduate or postgraduate awards, subject to the approval of their own Faculty Department.
