Ordination

On Sunday 10 January, College alumnus Deacon Asterios Zouriakas (Bachelor of Theology, 2001), was ordained to the holy priesthood by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios in the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation (Redfern, NSW). His Eminence Metropolitan Seraphim of Sebasteia, Their Graces Bishops Iakovos of Miletoupolis and Elpidios of Kyaneon, as well as many clergymen of Sydney, were also present. Fr Asterios serves as an auxiliary priest in suburban parishes within Sydney in accordance with the pastoral needs of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese.
